Recently, the CNPHARS-SERVIER Young Investigator Award in Pharmacology of 2017 was announced. After the review by Chinese Pharmacological Society (CNPHARS) and the French Institut de Recherches Internationales Servier (IRIS) experts, Zheng Ying, the professor ofDepartment of Pharmacology of our College was selected as one of eight award winners. The award ceremony was held in the “CNPHARS-ASPET Joint Symposia” on November 4 in Hangzhou.
“The CNPHARS-SERVIER Young Investigator Award in Pharmacology” is co-founded by CNPHARS and IRIS in 1997, and the award was selected once a year since then. The aim of this award is to encourage the outstanding young Chinese investigators in the field of pharmacology, for their achievements and contributions to the pharmacological research in China. So far, the award has been successfully selected for 21 times, resulting in 166 winners. Since many award winners have become industry experts and academic leaders in pharmacological research, this award has played an important role in promoting domestic pharmacological research in China.
